Cyber Safari Partners with Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation in Their Efforts to Save Lives

Fredericksburg, VA: Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation today announced a new partnership with Arlington based defense company, Cyber Safari. This partnership will help advance Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation’s mission to train more community members on Hands-Only CPR and the use of an AED.

“Hands-Only CPR performed by a bystander can double and sometimes triple the chances of survival for someone suffering from cardiac arrest,” said Heather Muir, Development Manager for Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. “We are thankful for Cyber Safari’s commitment to be our Silver Partner to pay it forward and join us in our mission to create a community that is educated, confident, and capable of responding to save the life of an individual in need of CPR.”

Cyber Safari’s support will help fund Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation’s Community Training Program. The training the Foundation provides is free of charge for community members and run by Foundation staff and volunteers. It costs the Foundation an average of $55 to train one community member in Hands-Only CPR. This cost factors in the use of equipment during the training, which includes:

  • Trainer Manikin
  • Kneeler Pad
  • Trainer AED Device
  • Adult & Child CPR Anytime Kit

The Foundation is currently scheduling training events for the 2021 year. The team has worked diligently to establish safe, socially distanced training practices and can provide classes offsite or at their training room located at 2217 Princess Anne St. #101, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
