Charity Golf Tournament

September 8, 2023 @ 8:00 am - September 10, 2023 @ 3:00 pm

$10.00 – $5,000.00

The annual Golf tournament by the employees of VDOT will take place on Monday, October 21st, at the Meadows Golf Course in Locust Grove. Each year the members of VDOT Fredericksburg put on a golf tournament to benefit Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. The 18-hole, shotgun-start tournament will boast several hole prizes, raffles, a steak dinner, awards, and a whole lotta golf. Here is a chance to come out and show your stuff on the course while supporting a great cause. This is also a great opportunity to play against other businesses and organizations, all while networking and having some fun.

Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation’s hope is that through our work, we can serve as a catalyst for increasing the survival rate of those suffering from sudden cardiac arrest because they received immediate help through Hands-Only CPR and AED use. We strive to create a world where everyone can save a life.

Proceeds will be used towards training and educating the community on the importance of Hands-Only CPR and the use of an AED.

Golf carts, continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, contests, steak dinner, and award reception following play are included with registration.

  • Check-in starts at 8:00. Putting green and driving range will be open; bagels and coffee
  • Shotgun start at 9:00 am. Mulligan purchases available day of the tournament
  • Longest Drive, Closest to the Hole, and Hole in One contest
